The two of herbivorous dinosaurs’ difference——Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus

Brachiosaurus was one of the biggest animal who is living in the land, which also is one of the most famous dinosaur, which is huge herbivorous dinosaur in the Late Jurassic.

The Brachiosaurus’hind legs are higher and stronger than its forelimbs. The Brachiosaurus’ body is like a gradually rising slope. 

The head is hanging in the sky, Brachiosaurus stared down at the ground. Because of hind legs and tails are short. The Brachiosaurus can’t use their hind legs to stand as like diplodocus.

Actually no need for them, they relied on their high neck to eat the plants that grow on the ground, as long as stands on the ground steady use their 4 legs.

The diplodocus is longer than the brachiosaurus , but because its neck and tail are very long, the body is short and thin, so the weight is not heavy. The diplodocus’neck is long, but because neck bone’s quantity is less and tough, so they can’t bend flexibly.

The Brachiosaurus’ and the diplodocus’nostrils are on the top of head. They can’t raise their neck. According to speculation is used to expend the feeding area in situ.

The brachiosaurus’bone structure can support them to look up for a long time.The standard posture is that the neck and head lifted up obliquely. Don’t like as diplodocus’s head and neck forward extension. The diplodocus’s head is more longer than Brachiosaurus’s, otherwise the Brachiosaurus’head is shorter and with crown.
